- Use links in tweets, but use shorter URL shorteners
- Pleading for re-tweets works
- Idle conversation doesn’t
- Use $5 words (smarter updates get re-tweeted)
- Use punctuation, but not semi-colons
- World events and breaking news go viral fast
- Use proper nouns and 3rd person verbs
- Emo is a no no
- Best time of the day (4pm Eastern)
- Best day of the week (Friday)
